Solidarity with Sweden

The management and staff of the EPO are deeply shocked and saddened by the horrific attack which took place in Stockholm on Friday 7 April. On behalf of all those at the EPO, I express our solidarity with the people of Sweden and our heartfelt condolences to the victims, their relatives, families and friends.

As an international organisation with staff coming from all over Europe and beyond, we firmly believe in the core values of tolerance and openness. Such attacks will never destroy these principles, nor the European values of cultural diversity, tolerance and mutual respect.
