Normal functioning of the EPO - Update

A current industrial dispute involving strike action at the European Patent Office (EPO) has been the subject of some recent public comment (see News item 27.11.2014).

The latest strike figures are the following

02.12.14             1482 staff representing 21,4% of the workforce
03.12.14               907 staff representing 13,1% of the workforce
04.12.14               774 staff representing 11,2% of the workforce
08.12.14               318 staff representing   4,6% of the workforce
09.12.14               415 staff representing   6,0% of the workforce

All measures to ensure the normal functioning of the Office are in place and services to users remain unaffected.
