A glimpse of the planned activities

This exciting programme has been put together by a team of volunteer staff. Highlights include the creation of a documentary film and an exhibition about the EPO’s history that also brings our art collection into play. There are inspiring educational activities for schools and children, as well as activities for staff that further foster our values. The focus on diversity and inclusion in particular is reflected in events such as sports competitions for our staff in the Olympic spirit.

On 5 October 2023, fifty years to the day after the signing of the European Patent Convention, the EPO will host a hybrid event involving all our sites and featuring a range of inspiring international speakers.
